The track is Grade 3 with uneven ground and steps. Check current park alerts; it is not a continuous step-free waterfront promenade.
See the outing ↗Bundeena
Take the train to Cronulla and a separately ticketed ferry to Bundeena, then explore the Jibbon side of Royal National Park on foot.
See the outing ↗Mosman
A 4km one-way Grade 3 harbour walk, officially estimated at 1.5–2.5 hours. Arrive by ferry at Taronga Wharf and plan a bus or walking return from Chowder Bay. Check track alerts and allow extra time for breaks.
Maroubra / Malabar
An exposed headland walk with ocean views. The eastern section closes for rifle-range operations on Saturdays and other dates. Follow the dated NPWS alerts, not a fixed weekend assumption; the western track is a separate option.

For a one-way walk, check transport at both ends before setting off. Allow for daylight, water, uneven ground and any track closure. If the return connection leaves little margin, choose a shorter section rather than rushing the whole route.
