Room viewing comparison notes

Sydney room viewing checklist and comparison notes

Keep what you actually checked: conditions, costs, notes and up to three photos per room. Reopen and compare your saved rooms.

Seven questions to take to a room viewing

Take these questions to a viewing. Record what you actually checked in the private notes below, then compare rooms using the same costs.

  1. What exactly does the rent include, and what is my share of bills?
  2. What bond, first rent and setup payments are requested, and when?
  3. Who lives here and how are the kitchen, bathroom and cleaning shared?
  4. Can I check noise, light, ventilation and signs of damp at a normal living hour?
  5. What is the actual door-to-door trip to work or study, including coming home?
  6. What start date, minimum stay, notice and house rules will be recorded in writing?
  7. What remains unconfirmed, and who will answer it before I decide?

Notes and resized photos are saved only in this browser on this device. They are private and are not posted to the housing board. Download a backup before changing devices or clearing browser data. Personal notes remain in the language you type.
